Unlike a pool company that might offer limited design options or rely only on their preferred templates, an independent designer has the flexibility to customize every aspect of your pool. And because they’re not beholden to any contractors, brands or product lines, you can trust that they’ll always have your best interests in mind when making recommendations for your space.
A professional designer also works on YOUR timeline. You can have designs in your hands in as little as 24 hours. This allows you to quickly convey designs, materials and ideas to the pool builder(s) of your choice. Working with an independent designer means you’ll also get to collaborate closely with them throughout the design process. You can provide feedback and make adjustments along the way, ensuring the timely completion of your deign to your exact specifications.
By then submitting the designs created by our independent designers, you can have pool companies bid your project and compare the proposals apples to apples. This is oftentimes the most challenging part of comparing pool builders; the proposals are seldom identical and contain discrepancies between finishes, equipment types, timelines and warranties not clearly expressed on their proposal. These differences, although not immediately apparent, can offer quite high cost differentials between the pool companies you are interviewing. Eliminate the guesswork and provide the builders exactly what you want, not only saving yourself time and frustration, but having the builders work to earn your business.

On average, 20-30 minutes is necessary to sufficiently fill out the required information. The more information provided, the better, as it aids us in more accurately creating the outdoor space you’re looking for. We recommend gathering all of the necessary information before you start including: your home’s site survey, inspiration photos and photos of the rear of your home.
Most designs are completed within 7 days. However, you can select faster turnaround times at checkout.
Although each design package is different, a minimum of 5 renderings will be sent upon completion; please read the description thoroughly before purchasing. You may also elect to add a flyover video and/or a dimensional drawing to your design. Dimensional drawings can only be obtained with an accurate survey. Aqua4 is not responsible for inaccurate or illegible surveys.
We are confident our designers will be able to fully capture your vision if adequate information is given when your order is submitted. If you’d like to make modifications, we are happy to include one revision within 5 days of design delivery at no cost. Think you might need additional revisions? You can add them through our a-la-carte checkout. This service must be added at the time of checkout and cannot be added at a later time. Revisions may take up to 3 days to process once you submit your request.
To request a revision, simply reply to your designer via email with any requested modifications. To aid in our understanding, we recommend a succinct and descriptive numbered list. It can also be useful to print out your design and write in or draw any requested revisions right on the design itself. This sometimes helps us get a better visual picture of just what you’re looking for.
In order for us to gather the correct dimensions of your home and yard, a certified accurate copy of your site survey is necessary. Aqua4 is not responsible for inaccurate or illegible surveys.
If you cannot locate a copy of your survey, we highly recommend contacting the title company responsible for your closing or ordering a new survey. The only package we offer that does not require a survey is our realtor package in which the designer chooses the design style and uses their best judgement to gauge dimensions based upon a photo of the home. See below.
On a case by case basis, we are happy to determine whether or not your build plans contain the necessary information to design your backyard oasis. If the plans are acceptable, you can simply upload them in place of the survey. Contact us if you have questions regarding your survey.
With our a-la-carte pricing, you can add an unlimited number of water features. With our premium design packages, the number of features varies based upon the package.
Yes, we offer a special realtor package. This type of design is rendered at the sole discretion of Aqua4 designers with a 7 day turnaround and no revisions. Please see our ‘

Certainly! Anyone can purchase the Realtor package. Please note that it does not offer any customer input or customization. It includes 1 design of our designer’s choice, 4 renderings, 7 day turnaround and no revisions.
Due to unknown site-specific conditions and municipality codes, we cannot guarantee the design you select is compatible with your terrain or municipality requirements. We recommend familiarizing yourself with these, along with any HOA requirements before submitting your design request.
